DIGITAL RETINAL IMAGING
Digital retinal imaging is a non-invasive way to more closely observe the interior of the eye. Tissues that make up the retina of the eye are susceptible to a variety of diseases. It is important to catch problems in their early stages to prevent vision loss. Retinal imaging is important for people who have a history of high blood pressure or diabetes since they are more prone to problems that could lead to vision loss. Documentation of the anatomy of the eye offers a baseline so that any changes can be detected.

VISUAL FIELDS TESTING
Visual fields testing measures a person’s entire scope of vision including central and peripheral (side) vision. The testing maps the visual fields of each eye separately. Visual fields testing requires patient cooperation in order to accurately analyze any area where there may be a loss of vision. The test most frequently detects any sign of glaucoma damage. In addition, the testing is useful for detecting peripheral retinal disease and optic nerve disease.

AUTO REFRACTION
Auto refraction measures patients' refractive error and prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses. It measures how light changes as it enters the patients’ eye. Auto refraction is quick and painless. Within seconds, the patients’ measurements are taken and printed for analysis by the optometrist.
