Dr. Richard L. Black
Dr. Black has practiced in and around the Raleigh area since 1987. He graduated from the Indiana College of optometry. Dr. Black opened his first practice in Garner in 1994 and subsequently opened the original location of Eyedeals Raleigh in 1997. Dr. Black embraces high standards of patient care in a relaxed, comfortable environment. His hobbies are gardening and tropical fish. He is a skilled craftsman and is very mechanically inclined. Dr. Black looks forward to providing you with the quality eye care you deserve.
Dr. Katherine Reynolds
Dr. Katherine Reynolds has practiced optometry in North Carolina since 1990. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she received awards for clinical excellence in primary care. She is the former clinical director of TLC Laser Eye Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Reynolds embraces high standards of patient care in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Dr. Reynolds looks forward to providing you with the quality eye care you deserve.
Jim Lewis, Optician
Jim has been with Eyedeals Raleigh since its inception in 1997. He is a North Carolina licensed optician. In addition, he received his bachelors' degree in business administration from NC Wesleyan College in 1997. Jim manages the Green Road location, excels in eyeglass fabrication, and prides himself in excellent customer service. He is an avid fisherman and has received several state fishing awards. He is a native Carolinian and is married with one child. He will be sure that your experience at Eyedeals is a positive one.
Meagan Leonard, Office Manager
Meagan is originally from Wake Forest, N.C. She graduated from Vance-Granville Community College with an Associate's Degree in Medical Office Administration in May 2009 and joined the Eyedeals team in September of 2009. Meagan primarily manages the front office. She files insurances, processes orders and assists with patient logistics. Meagan enjoys working with our patients and providing personal care.
Karen Loposay, Optical Technician
Karen is originally from Raleigh, N.C. She joined the Eyedeals team in February 2011. Karen assists with frame adjustments and repairs. She also manages all patient check-in procedures as well as appointment scheduling. Karen is a friendly and outgoing person who enjoys getting to know our patients.
Shannon Lewis, Optometric Technician
Shannon is originally from Cary, N.C. She moved to Raleigh in May of 2008 and has been studying optics for two years. She has worked in retail since 2009 and has a strong medical background. She enjoys helping patients and assisting the doctor.
